Pickleball Score Tracker: Who Serves and Which Side

  • By Julien Levadoux

Tap the side that won each rally. The tracker calls the score the way you'd say it out loud ("4-2-1"), shows who serves next and from which side, and draws where all four players should stand.

Names (optional; the first player of each side starts on the right)

How to use it

  1. Pick doubles or singles and the score you’re playing to.
  2. Type names if you like. In doubles, the first name on each side is the player who starts on the right.
  3. Tap Start the game, then tap the side that won each rally. Undo takes back the last tap.

The game stays on your phone, even if the page reloads. Nothing is sent anywhere.

What it shows

  • The score call: in doubles, three numbers: the serving side’s score, the receiving side’s score, and whether it’s the first or second server. In singles, two numbers.
  • Who serves, from which side, and to whom. The serve always goes diagonally, crosscourt.
  • Where everyone stands. In doubles, the serving pair swap sides each time they score; the receivers stay put.
  • When to switch ends in tournament play: when the first side reaches 6 in a game to 11.

Not sure why the call works the way it does? How pickleball scoring works explains it step by step.
